We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

-Assist with meal preparation and cooking

-Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control

-Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager

-Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule

-Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

-Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred

-Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions

-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, Food Handlers Certification

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
